Greetings from Thailand!
Last week I shared some thoughts about long stay travel and put out a poll to the community to get your input, to which I received many emails and many ideas in the poll - thank you! We'll be doing a webinar about long stays on July 28, which is meant to present some ideas and hear your feedback on them - please join us and share your thoughts 🙂
Also this past week was our interview with Egyptologist and our guide in Egypt, Mohamed Younes, who gave us a fascinating look at life in Egypt before and after the Egyptian Revolution, how it's changed things in the travel sector, and what travellers should know about the security situation there. It really was an interesting discussion, and I encourage you to give it a listen - you can find the link below.
As for things upcoming, I'll be presenting the program structure for our fall 2021 trip to Georgia & Armenia and sharing some stories from our trip there in 2018. It's a fascinating part of the world not visited by mainstream tourism yet, and I'm looking forward to returning there.
I hope your summer is in full swing and you are finding some time to relax. Let's stay positive and patient!
Cheers!
