Recapping the Future Travel Forum 2022 (Part 1)

August 29th, 2020

Greetings from Thailand!

This past Thursday was part 1 of our Future Travel Forum, and I'd like to extend a big thank you to all the travellers who joined us and shared some of their thoughts and opinions on the pandemic, cruising, and our new '5x5' program structure.

I've designed this new trip structure in response to changes to travel that I think will come about as a result of the pandemic, and I was pleased that it was so well-received by our members who attended the webinar. You can find a link to the replay here to get all of the details (if you want to skip right to the new structure and proposed trips, skip to about 36 minutes into the replay).

We'll be doing part two on September 10, where we'll be looking at proposed itineraries for Southern Europe. We won't go into the pandemic details for this one, so it will be a chance for you to dream about some amazing trips in the future, and to give us your feedback on what you'd like do and where you'd like to go. You can find the registration link in your email newsletter, so by all means join us if you are free.

I can't remember the last time I stayed in one place this long, and as antsy as I am to get moving again, it's given me lots of time to reflect on life and what we're trying to build here at Wheel & Anchor. And though the times remain challenging, there are glimmers of hope on the horizon.

You've probably heard me say it a million times, but we don't have a community if all the communication is just one way from me - I really value your feedback as we continue to grow this community together and make this vision into reality. I'm grateful to have you with us on this adventure and I look forward to connecting with you over a glass of wine in the hopefully not-to-distant future.

Cheers!
