Watch out for this tactic by the airlines

Greetings from Thailand!

This past week I was dreaming and making tentative plans to visit Europe this summer to do some reconnaissance for some upcoming Wheel & Anchor programs. In the process I spent a fair bit of time looking at flights, trying to figure out which routes are likely to be running and how one might efficiently navigate without getting stuck somewhere less than ideal.

If you've done any digging for flights in the past few months, you've probably noticed many airlines will have a bit of text that says no change fees* next to many of their fares. On the surface, this seems great, but as is often the case, it's not quite the deal that it sounds like upfront.

I made a short video this week explaining how these 'no change fee' things work and what you need to be aware of before you book your next flight.

In other news, I'm pleased to re-release our Ireland trip, this time for June of 2022. We'll begin with 4 nights, in the vibrant capital of Dublin, before we travel cross-country by train to Galway on the picturesque west coast. From there we'll continue by coach to legendary Killarney and the Ring of Kerry, finishing with an overnight stop in Cork, and then one last train ride to Dublin for a final overnight.

I think a dose of the legendary Irish cheer sounds pretty good right now, and I think it's going to be a great trip. You can find the itinerary in your newsletter, as well as a registration link for next week's webinar on the program. There's also links to upcoming webinars for our Ultimate Nile Cruise, and our first '5x5' program through Scandinavia, which I'm very keen to present to the community.

Lastly, I've received a number of messages from members informing me they've received their vaccines already, which I'm very glad to hear. Slowly, slowly, we're headed in the right direction. Stay positive and stay tuned 🙂

Cheers!
