Collingwood Event Recap (And Link for the Wine)

We made the trek from Toronto to Collingwood on the beautiful evening of Thursday, May 10 to meet more members and talk more travel, and couldn’t have had a better time! A big thank you to all who came out to join us that night!

It was wonderful to meet more travellers and new members – from those who are new to travel and planning their first trips, to those who have been to 100+ countries! (WOW!). We heard some great stories and also got some great ideas for upcoming events and trips.

Our hosts at Gibson & Company were extremely gracious, and everyone remarked on their unique space and great food. If you’re heading to Collingwood this summer, stop in for a glass of wine and ask for some of the pâté we had…it was outstanding

Equally remarkable was the Georgian wine which also flowed throughout the evening. As requested, here’s the link to the bottle in the LCBO with a quick note for anyone grabbing a bottle – Luke gave it ample time to breathe and we’ve concluded that it really made an already great wine even better!

We’ve put a few more photos on our Facebook page that you can see by clicking here.

It was a lovely evening and we’re already planning our next trip to Collingwood…stay tuned!
